The lights begin to dim. The entire coliseum is packed with screaming teenage girls like Times Square is packed with millions on New Year's Eve. The crowd begins to chant, "JONAS, JONAS, JONAS." Everyone is on their feet, waiting for the moment; the moment when their favorite band will step into the three spotlights and sing all of their favorite songs. Then, the moment everyone has been waiting for... Nick, Joe and Kevin step onto the stage and "look into the eyes" of a sea of their adoring fans, thousands of flashes, and signs showing their love for the brothers.
They start out by taking us into the future with an old favorite, "Year 3000". The boys continue to play through their set list, while the entire audience sings every word along with them. These guys are truly amazing. Joe got the parents in the audience to dance to "That's Just the Way We Roll", while Kevin stunned everyone with his guitar solos and Nick brought us all to tears with the exceedingly beautiful song he wrote about his diabetes called "A Little Bit Longer". They finished with the amazing "S.O.S". The brothers took hands and took a bow to their now ebullient audience.
The Jonas Brothers have an incredible amount of talent, love for their fans and music in their souls. They astounded the lucky audience with their tremendous stage presence and they seem like such genuinely nice guys who really just want to share their music. They are using their gifts for the right reasons. These brothers really are an inspiration to all of us. I know they have greatly inspired me.

Heart pounding out of my chest, I couldn't stand still. I wrung my hands together as the countdown began and the sheet finally dropped. A Jonas Brothers' medley of songs began to play, dusting off old favorites like "Mandy" and "I Am What I Am." My breath quickened and I realized I was shaking. My friend looked over concerned and said "Are you going to be ok?" I managed to choke out the words, "My 1st Jonas Concert! I can't believe we're here!" I instantly recognized the infamous guitar chords into the "Year 3000" and I jumped out of my skin. I could feel the excitement level in the arena rise as the boys came through the stage. Song after song I danced and sang along, soaking in the positive energy that those 3 boys exuded. When Nick told me to dance I was right there with him groovin' to the beats! I freaked when they did their "Goodnight and Goodbye" dance and I was actually scared when Joe fell through the stage during "Pushing Me Away". However, my favorite part of the night was when Nick talked to us during "A little Bit Longer". His heartfelt words resonated and struck a chord with everyone there on that night, and we'll never forget it. All 12,000 of us felt the electricity when we sang those words together. It was truly special. When the night came to a close, and I got to see Kevin do his S.O.S. dance, IN PERSON, I couldn't help but have a smile on my face because my concert experience had been amazing! I was so proud of these boys. Their 1st headlining arena tour and they had rocked it and I'm so blessed to be apart of that! Living the dream baby! Living the dream!

Guitar rifts wail through the air as the theater darkens. The screaming begins. A countdown clock is projected onto the curtain concealing the only 3 boys that could cause this type of hysteria. When you don't think that 7,000 girls could scream any louder, the curtain drops and the Jonas Bothers appear at the top of the stage. You were wrong. The screaming doubles in intensity, and crying ensues as the teen girls go ballistic at the sight of their favorite stars. But wait, you're one of them. And you're not a teen, you're 20. Your friends all think you're crazy for liking them, and your younger sister is home sick, so you do what any girl in your position would do... you go alone. Yet you still manage to have the time of your life. The atmosphere is exhilarating and you sing along, even though your voice is nothing compared to theirs. You cheer when Nick does his aerial, you sway your hands back and forth at Joe's request, and you rock out as Kevin jams on his guitar. When you hear the beginning notes of "Underdog" filling the air, you do a double take. "Underdog," seriously? A huge smile appears on your face. The type of smile that is impossible to get rid of, no matter how hard you try. As you listen to these 3 boys sing about a girl who may change the world, so many emotions run through you. You feel electric. You feel inspired. You feel grateful. Because for tonight, for that hour and a half that the Jonas Brothers are on stage, you forget about all of your problems. And you silently thank those three boys for the blessing that they have given you by sharing their music with the world.
